The Job’s Mission
To manage stock availability working with local and international suppliers. To develop on-going relationships with suppliers and across departments within the company to assist in sales growth.
Job Role
• Replenishment, office based. Ordering stock across an extensive beer, cider, wines and spirits drinks portfolio. Manage stock levels to maximise sales by ensuring optimum product availability within agreed stock holding targets.
• Always improving cost of goods.
• Support the Purchasing Manager in building strong working relationships with our suppliers, awareness of market activity, including new product launches and competitor activity.
• Provide accurate forecast volumes, report sales trends and inventory control to our principles and other departments such as Marketing and Finance.
• Price file maintenance and accurate systems data entry.
Essential Requirements
• Minimum 2 ‘A’ Levels.
• GCSE Maths & English Language (C grade and above).
• Literate in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
• Full UK Driving licence (no endorsements).
Desirable Requirements
• Experience in a similar role in the beers, wines and spirits category.
• WSET Level 2.
• Third Level qualification.
