United Wines recently brought a taste of the Mediterranean to Belfast with the launch of Freixenet Solare at Union Street Rooftop Bar.
Guests from across Northern Ireland’s hospitality industry joined us for an evening of food, entertainment and, of course, the chance to be among the first to try Freixenet’s latest launch.
Freixenet Solare is a new Mediterranean aperitivo inspired by the Spanish sun. Refreshing and citrus-led, it is made using 100% natural flavours, combining sun-ripened Spanish lemon and clementine with aromatic botanicals including rosemary and thyme.
Throughout the evening, guests were treated to the Freixenet Solare signature serve, made with two parts Freixenet Solare, three parts Freixenet Sparkling and one part sparkling water. Served over ice and finished with a slice of lemon, it offered the perfect introduction to the new aperitivo.
The launch was all about bringing the spirit of the Mediterranean to Belfast, with guests enjoying great food, music and a first taste of the new addition to the Freixenet portfolio.
Among those enjoying a Taste of the Sun on the evening were United Wines Brand Manager Olivia McAleenan, Emily Doherty from Liquid Minds and Shannon O’Neill from United Wines.
Freixenet Solare is now available in a 700ml bottle at 11% ABV to hospitality venues and retailers across Northern Ireland through United Wines.
